Dear Moses,
It is with genuine gratitude that I want to thank you for the opportunity to have been a presenter at ideaCity. Long before the actual event, I was receiving very positive and helpful communication from your staff. Once my wife and I arrived in Toronto, we began to meet more of your staff members who were also exceptionally helpful, friendly, and enthusiastic. Then, on the first morning, we had the opportunity to meet even more staff members who continued with that same excellent helpfulness, care, and concern for our presence at the conference.
My purpose in writing to you is twofold. First, I wanted to thank you and your staff for making us feel so very welcome. Secondly, I must tell you why I could not return after the first morning of presentations.
The first few presenters were interesting, thought provoking, and they tied in well together, even with part of what I addressed in my presentation. Everything was fine to this point. I understand offering diverse thoughts and opinions, as with the gentleman who followed my presentation who espoused the belief, through intellectualism, that "God never wrote a book" and how he believed in the fallacy of what was written in scripture. As God's prophet for this end-time, I know such ignorance is all too plentiful on earth.
However, a couple of presentations later, you gave the stage to a man who was "supposedly" a comedian, but sadly, the content of his message was so revolting, perverted and blasphemous that I found it incredulous that you would have given such recognition to something so hideous. For me, this is one of the most distasteful experiences I have ever had in my whole life. It is not my purpose to pass judgment on you, but to explain to you why I found this presentation so harmful to what I had believed was a more noble purpose for ideaCity.
Perhaps you could try to put yourself in my shoes for just a moment. Indeed, as I said in my presentation, I do not expect you or that audience to believe I am God's end-time prophet.
However, I would think that you might at least consider that I am very sincere about the warning I gave and that I have a deep conviction and passion about the message I delivered. Having said this, I would think that you might then understand that what I experienced (and hopefully, a few others might have experienced) was one of shock and dismay that ideaCity would allow such a presentation to be given. Tolerance and diversity do have their limits in life, even in this world.
There is no example I can give to reveal the magnitude of what this was like, but consider what it might be like if I had a brother, and he was one who was known for his tireless efforts to promote peace, give monetary aid, and influence the promotion of medical assistance to underdeveloped nations (due to his great wealth, political influence, and known humanitarianism). In time, my brother was murdered by terrorists and then drug through the city behind a jeep until only some few bones and flesh remained. Then, a few months later, ideaCity hosts a comedian who mocks the death of my brother while I am in the audience. Jesus Christ is my brother and you sponsored a comedian who mocked his death in front of me.
Out of conviction and conscience toward my brother and Father, I could not return in the afternoon, nor could I participate in anything further that would show any kind of support for ideaCity. To me, participation of any kind after that would have meant I was condoning what was presented.
Since I have no idea about your beliefs, I do want to say that the Eternal God, the God of Abraham, who I spoke about in my presentation, does not take this event lightly. This is not a small thing that such mocking of His Son was given audience at ideaCity and that you personally sponsored this. It is my hope that you come to see the magnitude of the severity of your decision for what occurred and that you will pursue God's mercy in this matter because of what it will mean to you personally if you fail to do so.

Dear Mr. Weinland,
Thank you for your note of August 1st, 2009. It's only just come to my attention, which is why I'm a little late with a reply.
Needless to say, what I was attempting at this year's ideaCity was to reflect a range of opinion on modern day religion; a spectrum that runs all the way from those who believe intensely, as you do, to those who think that religion is the most destructive force on our planet today. Indeed, I heard from other devout Christians who felt that it was you who was blaspheming, as they considered the fact that you declared yourself Prophet, to be an act of extreme arrogance. Still others urged upon me the argument that a pretension to know the mind of God, let alone to speak for Him, is in fact prima fascia evidence of a kind of insanity.
Nonetheless, they stayed for the length of the Conference, because they were eager to engage in discussion and debate. I regret that you did not, in particular as I had no time with you one-on-one, and was fully intending to do so as the Conference wore on.
Still in all, I'm glad you at least got a bit of a value out of the experience. Please keep my email address in your system, the better to keep me abreast of developments in your understanding of the history to come. It won't actually be that long before we can test the accuracy of your prophecy.

well I guess everybody commenting has it all figured out! Then it seems there is nothing to fear because everything in this world is just so good! There is no financial problems, no employment problems, even though the divorce rate is outrages families are happy and fulfilling with love and happiness. Why have idea city ?Everyone has the answers in their mind? Oh yea man wants to give all their great ideas (opinions) to each other.Well I guess we can all go back to sleep knowing that these intelligent folks have verified to themselves a false prophet in the Weinlands. Please post more of your mocking of God!

Has the thought ever occurred to you that what if ronald is who he says he is?
The blog etc, that you have set up is a mockery about this man.
I take it from your response, that you do believe in God and I hope that you will repent before God if ronald is a true end-time witness. We don't have long to go.
I was called by God last year and God's whole plan of salvation makes perfect sense and I know for a fact God is working through Ronald Weinland. His scriptural knowledge is truth and especially about the part of Jesus christ's pre-existence. I never believed that he pre-existed even though I was brought up in the orthodox faith.
Even when you mention about the fire-breathing judgements etc, you don't understand what it means.
You say you have made your mind up but you have not understood truth. Read in acts etc, all the mistakes the church made and required correction. When god's spirit is there, it demands growth and new understanding and knowledge is always increasing sabbath by sabbath. Look at the churches around you. Their doctrines are always the same because it is based on lies and you can't learn or grow from lies.
As i said, give it time because all the destruction mentioned is horrific beyond comprehension, and the more spread out it is, the better for everyone.
If you consider yourself a decent human being you will repent when you see proof and use your blog to do good and not evil.

is if God is beginning to reveal his truth personally to you that you Sincerely
take to heart the last statement Ronald Weinland made because I believe
the time is up. It won't be long now.

ps....By the way, I believe the first Trumpet was blown. In Revelations Chapter 8 verse 7 reads..."When the first angel blew his Trumpet, hail and fire were mixed with blood, and were thrown on the earth. One third of the earth was burned up and and one third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up ."
People are still looking for the physical part of that when in reality its spiritual. I feel it has to do with the greed and destuction of the world economy. To have plenty trees and plenty grass means your very wealthy, now all thats gone.

What most people forget is, that when Christ was here on earth that he too was hated by most people because no one wanted to believe that he was the son of GOD. What Christ had to go through the final days of his life, Christ knew before hand what must take place. Through out all history of mankind, all of GOD's prophets were treated the same. They were treated with hate, humilation and some to the death. GOD gave mankind freedom of choice and GOD does have the power if HE so wanted to, to make each and everyone of us love him but that wouldn't be GOD if he did so. Christ went through what had to be done and died a horrific death for all our sins. GODs only son had to go through with that prophecy in order to die for mans sin. Just exactly what all of us will go through in these last fews years here on earth. What Mr. Weinland is now going through is all part of GODs plan, they were not sent to the people to be welcomed with open arms or given a parade, they were sent to give all of us a message of whats to come and it's our choice to accept it or not. Mr. and Mrs. Weinland are here to witness GODs end time and Jesus Christ return to his kingdome. It is GOD's plan for these two endtime witnesses to be hated and ridiculed because they have to die on the streets of Jerusalem before the 3 1/2 days before Christ returns. If all mankind believed the two witnesses then there would be no death to these two witnesses but GOD has a plan to fulfill his prophecy and that plan is for these two witnesses to be hated by many people and for their bodies to lay on the streets for 3 1/2 days for the world to see and be marry that they're gone along with their plagues of suffering. Even Mr, and Mrs. Weinland have to suffer for their sins because no man on earth is without sin except Jesus Christ...but HE died for our sins.

Kirrily is going to be fine. She has dissected Weinland’s claims as thoroughly as I have seen it done, especially GFW – 2008. In fact, you can read her critique here.
I find myself wondering how you took it when Ron spiritualized the 1st Trumpet. You have been waiting for physical evidence. Ron emphasized the physical destruction of the 1st Trumpet in GFW saying that the words of the bible meant what they said physical destruction.
I suggest that when you see that he is a false prophet, you will be happy that you only observed. It will be easier to let go that way.
It is good to be skeptical because it keeps you from being duped. It is bad to be cynical and resigned because it depresses you and leads to hopelessness and despair (that bombarded feeling).
There are many things we cannot know and cannot find out. That’s just the way it is.
Beware the man who claims to have those answers because he’s bad news.
‘God never reveals anything on a silver platter.’ Not according to Ron, who claims Jesus not only told him when he opened the Seals of Revelation, but also told him what they meant and likewise told him the meaning of the 7 Thunders of Revelation in great specificity – see here and here. If that is on a silver platter, then I don’t know what is.
Don’t worry about being weak and imperfect we all are. God expects us to use our power of discernment and you already doing that.
You may not take breathing fire literally, but what about 1260 days, striking the earth with plagues as often as they wish, and stopping rain? God gave a specific description; Ron may have another spiritual interpretation.
How much longer is The Great tribulation going to remain a secret anyway?
I am watching. I’ve made my mind up based on a thorough examination of Ron’s words, the bible and facts.

Kirrily, it is sad what you went through. As stated above I have been following Ronald Weinland for 1.5 years but I am waiting for physical evidence before I join. If he does turn out to be a false prophet I know for a fact that everyone will leave the membership and I will be extremely dissapointed that I had been observing.
I hope you come through it and if things happen soon I hope you make the right choice.
I know why people are so skeptical. There is so much confusion in this world and false beliefs especially in religion. Its astounding, the toll it puts on the mind when its bombarded like it is.

The above comment seems to be coming from someone who does not quite understand what is going on.
I have been following the church since I first read god's final witness.
What people do not understand is that God never reveals everything on a silver platter. It is only done in his time.
Every prophet in scripture made errors including the apostles peter and paul.
As humans we are weak and very imperfect.
About the part of ronald breathing fire is just ridiculous. I think you need to go and re-read god's final witness.
I think it would be a good idea to bring ronald back on idea-city when these things start happening because at this time next year these things should be underway.
It would be interesting to know your beliefs Dill Weed.

Ronald Weinland claims to be more than a prophet.
He claims to be spokesmen for the Two Witnesses of Revelation. Ron is the 1st Witness and Spokesman his wife, Laura, is the 2nd. He announced this on his website.
They are the two most powerful prophets to have ever existed.
Ron and Laura began their 1260 day ministry December 14, 2008 (After a false start which I won’t go into). The beginning of their ministry also marked the beginning of the last 3 ½ years of The Great Tribulation. (You didn’t know that the Great tribulation was underway?)
Ron prophesied that nuclear bombs would go off in port cities in the US and Canada. This would be the 2nd Trumpet.
The 1st Trumpet was to result in wide spread physical destruction to Canada and the US, according to Ron’s book, God’s Final Witness – 2008. But, it turned out not to be physical destruction after all, Ron informed his congregation that it was SPIRITUAL and therefore observable by none save Ron. He is God’s prophet after all and the conduit for revelation and *yawn* interpretation - as he frequently reminds listeners, often loudly.
Ronald Weinland is special. Since December 17, 1994 Christ has spoken into his mind each time He has opened a Seal of Revelation according to God’s Final Witness – 2008, Pg 63. All the seals have been opened, by the way. (You missed that, too?)
Given Ron’s bold prophecies, I encourage Moses to PUBLICLY invite him back for an update with all of the claims he has made reviewed BEFORE he presents. Don't let him just talk. Give him the points he must address.
Ron craves publicity and sees it as validation from God that he is, in fact, God's End Time prophet. Increased publicity for The Two Witnesses is fulfillment of the 6th Thunder of Revelation revealing him as God’s End Time prophet.
In a sermon, Ron wondered aloud what purpose God had in mind when he received his invitation to ideaCity . I wonder if it is playing out how he imagined it.
God’s purposes and methods are not always easily understood. His ways ARE higher than our ways. Ron understands this.
What better place for God to announce to the world that Ronald is His End Time Prophet and Witness than the very place from which he was routed and fled from in horror and despair and was still a month later ill about it?
This could have been God's purpose in the initial invitation- a second unveiling of His prophet. God is a God of second chances is He not? Clear the day of any speaker who might offend Ron. Don’t give him a readymade excuse to refuse.
Ron and Laura should soon be quite formidable. They will be able to breathe fire to destroy those who would do them harm, call down plagues at will and stop rain anywhere. By the time the next ideaCity rolls around we will be 18 months into The Great Tribulation.
Make the Weinland’s invitation public – with the press release above. I’m willing to pay for a bill board or sign saying, “Welcome Ron and Laura Weinland – The Two Witnesses of Revelation!”

I found IdeaCity 2009, 10th Anniversary to be a well organized, welcoming, stimulating and engrossing event. I did note the diversity of ideas, and in particular the chilling message/messenger in the Mr. Weinland presentation. The pushback of a few additional speakers to Mr. Weinlands "prophesy", I took as comments in the adverse, not an attack; and feel in the modern world, nothing is sacred to a comedian. I do believe we must respect the ideas of others, whether we agree with them or not. The strict ethics of many religions do not allow for the free exchange of contrary opinions and we see the results throughout the world of war we live in. Whether God or Nature, many of the speakers left me feeling that our world and life as we currently enjoy it, is in serious jeopardy. The presentations initiated a desire to investigate further and I have done so. This has opened new doors for understanding the many complex issues dealt with at the conference. Thx!

I have been observing this false prophet for over a year and maintain my own website and blog which points out his failures. ( ronaldweinland.info)
Weinland held back during his presentation at ideaCity, claiming only to be an "end-time prophet". Actually, it is more than that --- Weinland claims to be one of the Two End-Time Witnesses prophesied in the Bible's Revelation chapter 11. (See page 16 of his book "2008 - God's Final Witness", free PDF download from his "the-end.com" website.) It turns out that his wife Laura is conveniently the other of the Two Witnesses. Those at ideaCity were indeed privileged to have two Biblical characters in their midst!!!!
Revelation 11 states that the Two Witnesses have the power to smite the earth with plagues and to breath fire upon their enemies. So it makes you wonder why these "Most Formidable Prophets" (page 11 of his book) fled ideaCity rather than exercising their Witness Powers to take immediate action against Rick Miller and those in attendance who found Miller's presentation amusing. Weinland missed a great opportunity to demonstrate that he is indeed an End-Time Witness and that people should take his statements seriously.
Actually, we do not have to wait to test the accuracy of Weinland's prophecies. He is now on his second prophetic timeline. For his first prophetic timeline (Christ to return Sept 2011), there were to be nuclear explosions in US port cities no later than July of last year. Regarding Weinland's sanity, in March of 2008 he stated that it would be insane if he did not stop preaching and acknowledge being a false prophet when his specific prophecies failed last summer. Yet over a year later he is still at it.
According to the Bible, the Two Witnesses are to be wearing sackcloth -- however Weinland wears nice suits and lives in a nice $381,000 home on a golf course. To top it off, the IRS is conducting a criminal investigation of him. (These last two items are documented on government websites, in case you have any doubts.) Perhaps the IRS investigation has something to do with his Swiss bank accounts which he has mentioned in sermons.
I found Moses' response to Weinland quite measured, considering that in the last paragraph of his diatribe he indicated that Moses is a target of God's wrath for his involvement in Rick Miller's blasphemy. Back in December, Weinland stated that anyone who mocked and criticized him (including yours truly) would die a speedy death from the inside. Considering the efficacy of Weinland's statements so far, Moses will likely be the host at the 50th ideaCity forum.

I left the group in January 2009 after following Ron for nearly 2 years.
First tribulation was to begin 17 April, 2008 - with blowing of first 'trumpet' and resultant destruction of 1/3 grass in USA with deaths of people into the tens of thousands - over a period of 45-90 days.
Failed.
Timeline 2 announced from memory in June 2008 and Ron announced a 'new truth' he 'received' directly from God.
New tribulation to start December 2008 - with the EXACT same timing as before, just moved forward to start December 08.
December 08 - WOOPS - no more 45-90 day destruction after blowing of first trumpet.
Now August 2009, and he supposedly has a new 'truth' in relation to the real meaning of 3.5 years (duration of tribulation) - he will not announce this yet however, and is stringing his members along until October this year to announce it.
Just a few quotes from Rons own book for your interest:-
Page 23, last paragraph:
As will be covered in another chapter, I know the exact day the Sixth Seal was opened, and the world will be shocked and in horror on the day that the Seventh Seal is opened.
The Seventh Seal has been 'opened' twice now March 08, and November 08 - no shock and horror for the world.
Page 24, first sentence:
God has given to Jesus Christ the timing for the seals to be opened, and Jesus Christ, in turn, has given the timing to me.
So, it was GOD that gave the timing - so who was wrong (twice now), God or Ron?
Page 117, last sentence and continuing to page 118:
This first powerful event of the Seventh Seal will result in wide-spread destruction over the United States and beyond her border into Canada. The destruction in Canada will be less, but she will experience repercussions from what will happen in the U.S.; because she is a neighbor, as well as a prophetic brother. When we are told that a third of all plant life will be destroyed, that is exactly what it means.
mmmmm - EXACTLY what it means - again, it's been opened TWICE - on the second time however, Ron changed the meaning to be 'spiritual' with the US dollar (being green) declining in value - somehow fulfilling this opening of the seal - go figure.
And finally:-
Page 4, 1st full paragraph:
The proof of the validity of my first book, and now this one, is in the timing and the destruction that follows, exactly as both books describe.
Validity of Rons claims/book = timing and events happening EXACTLY as he describes.
I could go on and on with other failures (ie. "No new president will take office in January 2009") - but it would fill this space.
When I left, I was told I was anti Christ and embracing Satan.
