Election Day in Canada

It’s election day in Canada and the whole nation is a buzz over who might win our 42nd Federal election. We at ideacity have had many various speakers over the years discussing politics, foreign affairs and this great country we call home. Get ready to watch the polls tonight by checking out some of our past talks and don’t forget to go out and vote today!

At ideacity 2015, we had Conrad Black join us to discuss the history of Canada during our ‘O Canada’ pod. Watch the video and learn all about our countries history.

During the same ‘O Canada’ pod we also decided to sit idealists Conrad Black,

A hot topic in this year’s election is doctor assisted suicide. In 2014 we were joined on stage by Dying with Dignity CEO Wanda Morris. Watch her opinions on the topic and learn why this is important with our aging population.

Our final talk featured in this post is from Daniel Bell, a professor of Ethics and Political Philosophy who joined us in 2013. In his talk he discusses a vertical model political system and why this may be ideal.
