This weeks lineup of speakers all have one thing in common: the media. From a cartoonist to someone who isn’t everyones taste, these four speakers don’t shy away from sharing their points of view.

Ezra-Levant-for-Web

Ezra Levant
Ezra Levant is a human rights activist, lawyer, author, TV host and dad. He is not to everyone’s taste.
In 2014, Ezra was chosen as the “most irritating Canadian” by the Globe and Mail’s TV critic. The Globe’s readers were less discriminating, voting Ezra “the biggest name in Canadian broadcasting”. In the 2014 Hill Times survey of Parliament Hill staff he was voted “talking head you’d most like to silence” by an overwhelming margin. Read More

Kevin Kallaugher (KAL) is the international award-winning editorial cartoonist for The Baltimore Sun and The Economist magazine of London.
In a distinguished career than spans more than 36 years, KAL has created over 8,000 cartoons and 140 magazine covers. His resume includes six collections of his published work, eight international honors and awards, and major exhibitions in a dozen countries. Read More

Diane Francis is an award-winning columnist, bestselling author, investigative journalist, and television commentator. She writes pieces for the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Daily Beast, Politico, Miami Herald and is a regular contributor to the New York Post. She is Editor-at-Large at Canada’s National Post and writes for Huffington Post. She is a regular contributor to the New York Post, Al Jazeera America and CCTV-America (China TV). In addition she is a Distinguished Professor at Ryerson University’s Ted Rogers School of Management and has been a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University’s Joan Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy. In 1991, she became Editor of Canada’s Financial Post, the first woman editor of a national daily newspaper in Canada, a position she held until the paper was sold in 1998. Read More

Gabriel Angelo MasterBlaster G is a 15-year-old trumpeter and entertainer who tap dances as he plays his tunes. His musical career began with drum lessons at Shiloh Conservatory in Oakland. He went on to begin piano lessons at six years old, but on the first day came back to his mother with a trumpet, having fallen in love with it. Read More
