Shmuley Boteach

Rabbi Shmuley was recently named “a cultural phenomenon” and “the most famous rabbi in America” according to Newsweek’s list of The Top 50 Rabbis. He was also named one of the ten most influential rabbis in the world. He is the host of the national TV show Shalom in the Home and best-selling author of eighteen books.

His latest book, Shalom in the Home, is based on the hit series and his recent work, Parenting with Fire, was featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show in October 2006.

Rabbi Shmuley first came to world attention through his founding of the Oxford University L’Chaim Society. In Oxford, he played host to, and debated, some of the world’s leading thinkers, statesmen and entertainers, including Mikhail Gorbachev, Stephen Hawking, Shimon Peres, Deepak Chopra, Benjamin Netanyahu, Elie Wiesel, Christopher Hitchens, Yitzhak Shamir, Richard Dawkins, Simon Wiesenthal and Michael Jackson, to name but a few.

A winner of the highly prestigious The Times (London) “Preacher of the Year” award, Rabbi Shmuley has lectured and appeared in print, radio and TV all over the globe.
