DYING WITH DIGNITY

Wanda Morris is the CEO of Dying With Dignity Canada (DWD).

Wanda is a former professional speaker who has been active in the Right to Die with
Dignity Movement for many years. She has spoken widely on this topic to local and
national audiences. On behalf of Dying With Dignity, she made the case for medically assisted dying to the Parliamentary
Committee on Compassionate and Palliative Care, gave testimony in the BC Supreme
Court Case (where Gloria Taylor was a co-plaintiff) for aid in dying and is currently seeking status as an
intervener in the upcoming Supreme Court of Canada Case on the Right to Die With Dignity..

Dying With Dignity is a registered charity with over 3,000 members and supporters across
Canada. Their mission is to improve quality of dying and expand end-of-life choices. The
organization provides education about advance care planning, patient rights and the
reasons why end of life choice should be legalized. DWD also offers a unique support
program where individuals who are sick and dying receive info about all their legal options should they
wish to seek a gentle death.
