As a humanitarian, nurse, and artist who has lived and provided aid in several parts of Africa, Laura Archer discusses not only the importance of having compassion, but also the importance of not having “compassion fatigue” – or more simply, never growing tired of helping those who need it. Here, Archer presents portraits she painted of Africans in order to give a voice to their stories. Watch to find out how one human being at a time, together we can make a difference.
